Budanov added that this is the first case when naval drones shot down fighters, and the first use of AIM-9 air-to-air guided missiles from a UAV (instead of the Soviet R-73) to destroy an aircraft.

По словам главі ГУР, экипаж первого истребителя катапультировался и выжил, а вот экипаж второго отправился к праотцам.
Буданов добавил, что это первый случай, когда морские беспилотники сбили истребители, и первое использование управляемых ракет AIM-9 класса "воздух-воздух" с БПЛА (вместо советских Р-73) для уничтожения самолета.
